Episcopal Church of the Messiah, Baltimore, Maryland

You Are Welcome Here.

The Church of the Messiah is a parish of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maryland. We are a community striving to live the Good News of Jesus Christ in every aspect of our life together. We seek to graciously welcome all, respectfully listen to one another, and generously share our gifts with each other and the world.

The people of Messiah and their rector, the Rev. Timothy Grayson, are committed to living this vision as we worship, pray, learn, and serve together. We hope that you will join us.

We look to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ for our model of community and acknowledge both the simplicity and complexity of that challenge.

We welcome Episcopalians, Christians from other traditions, and members of other faiths. We welcome seekers and skeptics, agnostics and atheists. We welcome the hopeful, the despondent, the ambivalent and the indifferent. We welcome all ages and abilities, classes and cultures, races, genders, and sexual orientations. We welcome everyone to participate in our worship and in our community, without insisting that any person become like any one of us in order to be accepted.

The Church of the Messiah asks only that you extend to all the same welcome articulated here.
