Our Service & Liturgy

Worship services are at the heart of what goes on at Messiah. Each Sunday, we gather to pray, praise, learn, give thanks, and celebrate the Holy Eucharist.

Our liturgy, the public expression of our active Christian faith, is based on the Book of Common Prayer. Throughout most of the year, we celebrate Rite I at 8:00 AM and Rite II at 10:15 AM (9:30 AM during the summer months). We also celebrate an informal Eucharist at noon on Wednesdays.

Our services are traditional and reverent, but we are not stuffy or exclusive. All are truly welcome to join us in worship, and you should feel comfortable to come as you are.

Children are also welcome at all of Messiah’s worship services. There is even a quiet play area within the sanctuary to accommodate children under 7 and their parents.
