| Moveable Feast provides nutritional services to those living with HIV/AIDS and breast cancer.
A good diet is vital in the daily battle to stay healthy. To that end, Moveable Feast plans, prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality food to those who are unable to do this for themselves, and also provides nutritional counseling, transportation and training. For more information, check out Moveable Feast's website at http://www.mfeast.org/index.html.Although loss of appetite is very common for those living with HIV/AIDS, it is very important that to get the nutrients needed to help fight infection and to help medications work properly. Tasty, appealing desserts can help whet an unresponsive appetite and brighten an often bleak day. To help with this ongoing need, the Church of the Messiah has formed a Baking Team that bakes delicious, nutritious desserts around the second Sunday of every month for Moveable Feast to provide to their clients. People bake at home and bring their dessert creations to the church on Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to join the baking team by contributing goodies that our team leader will deliver across town to the Moveable Feast kitchens. You don't have to be a member of the church to bake with us for Moveable Feast! And if you can't bake, please consider a monetary donation to Moveable Feast -- more information is available at the following link: http://www.mfeast.org/donate/index.html.
