About our beautiful windows:

The East Window
Most of
Messiah's stained glass windows were installed by the Willet Company of
Philadelphia. The most notable exception is the East window (above
the altar), depicting Jesus Christ, which is a Tiffany window. It had been
installed in the downtown church in 1912 and moved with the congregation to
Hamilton.
The ten side
windows tell the Gospel story, beginning on the front left (as you face the
altar) and continuing around to the front right. The ten windows depict,
in order: the Nativity, the Boyhood of Jesus, the Baptism of Jesus, Calling the
Apostles, Jesus the Sustainer, Jesus the Teacher, Jesus the Messiah, the
Crucifixion, the Resurrection, and the Ascension.
The large West
window (above the main doors to Harford Road) depicts "The Works of
Mercy from the Parable of the Last Judgment." The windows above the
three sets of exterior doors, called "Tympanums", have the
themes of peace and joy. The smaller clerestory windows (high above
the central aisle) show symbols of the Church and the Church Year. The two
windows in the vestibule depict John the Baptist on the north side and
the Prophet Amos on the south side.
