The Liturgical Year

We welcome you to worship God with us.

Greeters from our Welcome Team hand out bulletins at both the Tower Room and Harford Road entrances every Sunday, and are glad to help with directions and assistance.

Accessibility

The rear entrance from the parking lot is wheelchair-accessible, and a chair lift reaches all three levels.  Spaces for a wheelchair are available in the second row on the north aisle - left side as you face the altar, near the pulpit, and in the south (right) aisle behind the seventh pew.

Vision

The words of our liturgy are found in the red Book of Common Prayer.  The words and music for prayer and praise are found in the blue Hymnal 1982, in the red folder of supplemental music, in the green book, Come Celebrate, and in Lift Every Voice and Sing II (LEVAS) - an African American Episcopal hymnal.  The bulletin can be used as an aid to help you go from one book to another.

Large print copies of the prayer book and hymnal are available.

Hearing

There are twelve head-sets available, which plug into jacks with individual volume controls. These can be found on both sides of the nave, in the center of the 6th, 10th, and 15th rows from the front.

Standing, Sitting, and Kneeling

The bulletin indicates when to stand or sit, and though there are generally accepted parish norms for posture, no worshipper is ever expected to do what may be physically harmful or dangerous -- you may stand instead of kneel, or remain seated instead of standing.
